Happy birthday, dear puppies. 6 months! They weight 25-30 kg, eat up to 1 kg meat per day, love their new homes. We are proud of them *

We visited Neon today, he enjoyed playing with David soooo much! He would still easily go home with Davorin, and new owners were surprised he didn't bark at us when we arrived. Our boy is growing fast, but still remembers us. Neon, we love you *

Jena was said when Neon left at noon, but looks pretty excited now when hew things are ready to hit the road and enjoy seaside tomorrow.

Last happy dog family moments: Nil is just leaving -  Davorin is driving him to Germany, Neon is going tomorrow. Jena booked her holiday on Monday, not to get too depressed ;)

So much fun with the puppies! We started clicker training, I am sharing Nil's first lesson.
He had never been trained before, and he is working in a new environment, on a hot summer day, with lots of distractions. I am soooo proud of him!

Thank you, Anita Lučič, for help. Jena and I were learning tricks at her course, she is simply the best. Almost like watching Emily Larlham, = Kikopup in person.

Our little distructor make us laugh every day. They are adorable and smart! I am soooo produd of them when they wait for me in the kindergarten, without a leash, of course. Our walks have never been more joyful.

Nil (right) is my big love, such a great character, dark color and perfect contitution, very perspective puppy. I hear new owner knocking on our door, but I am not opening them yet ,)

It's time to celebrate: puppies are 2 months old! It is so nice to have them at home. Neon and Nil decided to be with their mom a bit longer. Happy times.

Puppies went to see the vet. They are all healthy, micro chipped and vaccined.
Naja weights 4.300, her big brother Nik 7.300 kg, others around 6 kg. They were soooo brave and nice, baby and I had no trouble handling them without leash. First boys are leaving us today. Dear Naj and Nik, good luck and lots of love!

Puppies have heard that new owners are coming soon, so they had an appointment by the hairdresser.
They say being beautiful is a hard job so they took a nap immediately, looking drop dead gorgeous.

Little biters enjoyed rain shower yesterday and are sooooo soft we can't stop cuddling them. They have 5 kg now, and together with mom they eat 14 kg dry food  + 4 kg meat per week.

When it's youghurt time,

even our cat comes by. Her ears are yummy!

Puppies still love milk, although they are already naughty and they bite our visitors ;)

First teeth came out around day 19 and puppies immediately started playing and gently biting each other. We rather waited with 'real' food, as Jena has more than enough milk, which suits their needs best. Studies show that there is lower risk of alergies if food is offered later and we really want to do what is best for them. Today they were finally offered food for big dogs: raw meat. They enjoyed every bite. We are hoping for a quiet night ;)

 

Puppies opened their eyes on day 10, and started walking on day 12. They have to work hard for their food: yesterday the guarded our turtle, in the meantime Jena cuddled our baby. Life is good.

 
 

Our fairy-tale update: 7 turned into 9! Nine cutest little puppies ever. They are five days old and on the sunny spring day hey went to get some fresh air. Baby sitter is a must have.

Once upon a time there lived Jana and Davorin. They had a karst shepherd. Her teeth were white as snow, coat dark as ebony and steaks on her menu red as blood. Her name was Jena. 

Handsome prince Ajo was dying to meet his bride and asked mirror for help: 'Mirror, mirror, on the wall,who in this land is pettiest of all?' Mirror answered: 'Jena, run and meet her'. 

62 days later 7 charming puppies joined them and they lived happily ever after. Isn't this the cutest fairy tale ever? 

We believe in love, early socialization and gourmet treats. Our puppies have been kissed, huged and adored from their very first moment. Their tummies are fed with best mummy's milk. And a new dog lover is being raised incidentally ;) 

We visited veterinary today. Best news ever: we are going to have puppies!
We are soooooo happy, proud & grateful!

 

Jena was successful at dog show CACIB Celje on Valentine's Day 2015. She was rewarded not only with delicious treats, but also with CAC and rCACIB. Congratulations!

Judge made a small comment on her weight, who knows, she might be carrying puppies?
